SHOW DESCRIPTION:
Creek mouths, oyster bars, mangrove shorelines, grass edges—these are just some of the natural features which time engineered into the life cycles of game fish. Docks, bridges and other manmade structures figure heavily into our fishing, but some days the natural structure holds more appeal.
The relationship between fish and natural structure works two ways: Often game fish hold in a place that gives them an easy chance to catch a meal; in other cases, they’re seeking security of their own.
Tune in to this week’s show as Jeff Weakley and Capt. Ray Markham fish potholes and ledges for pompano, snook and reds. Capt. Fisher Culbreth and Mike Conner go after reds on oyster bars and grass flats.
