Living on the Ledge
Episode 1
If you’ve ever fished offshore for grouper or snapper, you undoubtably spent lots of hours staring at the depth-finder looking for a ledge that was holding fish. Successful inshore anglers are doing the same thing, just in micro-dimensions. In this episode of Shallow Water Angler, Blair Wickstrom fishes the ledges of a spoil bar where sand drops off to grass. These ledges create cover for bait fish, as well as ambush zones for predators.
