Sometimes getting eye level with your quarry is the only way to make the catch. Whether you’re after redfish on a Texas flat, bones in the Bahamas or winter flats for trout, there’s no stealthier way to approach spooky fish than actually getting in the water with them and wading.

There are several advantages to wading, number one being the stealth factor. Being “one” with the fish it makes it much harder for them to see or hear you. Both factors are extremely important when you’re fishing in less than two feet of water.
